Although their name “Ferguson Young” was formally announced/established in 2011.  The band members do have a longer history of playing together.  Liam McGlashon returned to his hometown Hamilton in 2007 after living in Prince Edward Island. First stop “The Corktown”.  Known then as ‘The Fiddlekid’ Liam was called up to play with a local band playing on a friday night back in around 2008.  Liam continued to join in and play with the band getting to know the members and the crowd alike.  From then on, Liam has always considered the Corktown as his music  “home away from home”.  Friends and family gather at this famous pub and the “Kitchen Party” begins at the corner of Ferguson and Young!
